Cost should never decide who competes. Through the Erasmus+ inclusive-participation budget, The Clash supports 200+ athletes with fewer opportunities so they can travel, stay and compete.

How to access Erasmus+ Sport and other EU funding opportunities for sport organisations.
All education session participants receive Europass certificates — the European standard for recognising skills and qualifications across borders. Target: 250 certificates.

Getting around

By air
Tallinn Airport (TLL) is about 12 km from the venue — roughly 14 minutes by taxi/Bolt (€9–12). Direct flights from major European cities.

By sea
Viking Line ferries from Helsinki (2.5h, twice daily). Overnight connections from Stockholm. 9 km from the port to the arena.

By bus
Lux Express, FlixBus and Ecolines from Riga (~4.5h), Vilnius and other Baltic cities. Tallinn Bus Station is in the city centre.

Public transport
Buses 8, 22, 40, 41, 42, 43, 46 and trams 1, 4 stop at Haabersti, right in front of the arena. Free and paid parking on site.
Accommodation
Accommodation recommendations and partner-hotel offers will be published closer to the event. Supported athletes receive accommodation assistance through the Erasmus+ inclusion programme.

The Clash: European Combat Sports Festival 2026 is a five-day international combat sports event held on 20–24 October 2026 at Tallinn’s Unibet Arena. The programme features competition in K-1 kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA, plus educational seminars and cultural exchange. The festival is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Sport programme.

The festival covers three combat sports: K-1 kickboxing (amateur, WAKO K1-Style rules), Muay Thai (amateur, IFMA rules) and MMA (amateur, IMMAF rules).

Through the Erasmus+ Sport inclusion programme, The Clash offers travel or accommodation support to 200+ athletes with fewer opportunities. It ensures equal access to high-level competition and education regardless of economic background. Application details will be published when the programme opens.

Yes. All education sessions are freely accessible to every festival participant — athletes, coaches, referees and team staff. Sessions cover topics such as nutrition, mental health, coach development, refereeing, personal branding and EU funding opportunities.

Europass is the European standard for documenting skills and qualifications. Every participant who attends The Clash education sessions receives Europass certificates that formally recognise their learning across EU member states.

Yes. All bouts are professionally broadcast live, making the event accessible to a global audience. Live stream links will be published on this page and our social channels before the event.

Tallinn is well connected by air (Tallinn Airport, TLL), sea (from Helsinki and Stockholm) and bus (Lux Express, FlixBus from Riga, Vilnius and other Baltic cities). The Clash is launching a digital learning platform at theclash.ee, offering free and lasting access to all of the festival’s educational content — including seminars, quizzes and mobile-friendly learning resources. It ensures the knowledge shared at The Clash stays available to the combat sports community after the event.
