A strong athlete takes care of both their body and their mind.
One of the seminars at the European Combat Sports Festival will be led by Dagmar Rahula, a sports psychologist who will discuss the importance of mental health in an athlete's development and how to cope with the pressure, expectations, and challenges that come with competitive combat sports.
Combat sports require discipline, dedication, and consistency. Just as important as physical preparation is the ability to maintain mental well-being and effectively manage victories, defeats, and the demands of everyday training.
During the seminar, you will learn:
- Why mental health is a key part of every athlete's success.
- How to cope with pressure, stress, and competition anxiety.
- How to recognize the signs of mental overload and prevent burnout.
- Which habits support long-term mental well-being and athletic development.
Mental strength does not mean suppressing your emotions – it means learning how to understand and manage them effectively. This seminar will provide practical insights and tools for athletes, coaches, parents, and anyone involved in combat sports to support healthy, long-term development both in sport and in everyday life.
