Kenter Metsaots will return to The Clash cage in October. For the fighter, who trains at the Invicta sports club in Pärnu, The Clash 5 is his next opportunity to put himself to the test and show how much he has improved in the meantime. “I want to compete again and prove myself,” said Metsaots.
The interview was recorded on June 16, 2026, as Metsaots was preparing for the July 4 event and his first professional match.
Combat sports have instilled discipline
Metsaots has been practicing kickboxing for just over two years. During this time, not only has his physical condition improved, but so has his attitude toward daily responsibilities and challenges. “I’ve become physically and mentally stronger, and I’ve gained discipline.”

According to him, the self-confidence he’s gained through training carries over beyond the gym. “If you can compete and train every day, you can handle other things in life too—work and other responsibilities.”
Team support helps before a match
Metsaots also values his Invicta training partners and the community that has formed there. As a competition approaches, the time spent together helps ease the tension and take his mind off the upcoming match for a while. “Spending time with friends and training partners before a match takes my mind off things. The community and support here at training are very strong.”

In June, while preparing for the competition, Metsaots trained twice a day. His daily routine included running, kickboxing, weight training, and technical work, with a greater focus on building endurance.
It’s worth seeing The Clash’s evolution with your own eyes
Metsaots has witnessed The Clash’s evolution since the event was still held in Pärnu. This October, The Clash is coming to Tallinn and will take place at Unibet Arena as the final night of the European Combat Sports Festival. “The Clash is a really cool event where you can see great matches. It started out very small and has now grown so big. For that reason alone, it’s worth coming to see how The Clash has evolved.”
