About the project

The Clash: European Combat Sports Festival is a five-day international event at Tallinn's Unibet Arena on 20–24 October 2026. It brings together more than 800 participants from across Europe, including 200+ young people with fewer opportunities, for free competition and education. Athletes compete at no entry cost, attend free educational seminars, and earn Europass certification for the skills they gain; a digital learning platform keeps the materials available beyond the festival. The project pursues four objectives: social inclusion through sport; health and lifestyle education; career pathways for young athletes and coaches; and digital tools for learning and participation. Co-funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme, The Clash promotes active citizenship, cross-border cooperation and equal access to high-level sport across Europe.

Funding scope

The Erasmus+ grant funds the festival: the free amateur competition, the educational programme and the digital learning platform. The Clash 5 professional fight night is a separate commercial event organised by MTÜ The Clash Baltic. It is held during the festival week, but it is not part of the funded action and receives no grant funding.
